In August 2017 I set out on an open-ended bicycle tour circumnavigating the US. This video blog highlights the twenty-second leg of my journey from El Paso, TX to Hachita, NM.
This section of the ride was an incredible jaunt through the high desert. Leaving El Paso the scenery began to change dramatically. The two-day ride was surrounded by mountains and glorious desert landscape. I rode past cacti, yucca, and desert fauna. Every turn brought a new sight. The deserted roads made the riding even better. The wind and heat were rough at times, but the scenery helped me power through. I enjoyed the whole ride through the desert. Check out the video for the full experience.
The gap in my blog is due to my camera breaking! I managed to get a new one in El Paso to continue to document the journey!
