In August 2017 I set out on an open-ended bicycle tour circumnavigating the US. This video blog highlights the eighth leg of my journey from Myrtle Beach to Beaufort, SC.

The ride out of Myrtle Beach was filled with beautiful southern forest. Lots of pine trees and native plants made the ride very different than what I’ve experienced before. The ride into Charleston went through a large pine forest and over a massive bridge. The views along the bridge were spectacular. Heading into Beaufort involved crossing multiple waterways and large bridges. I was greeted by incredible views of islands, marshes, and swamps. The differences in scenery were impressive as I rode along the coast. Check out the video for the full experience.
