In August 2017 I set out on an open-ended bicycle tour circumnavigating the US. This video blog highlights the tenth leg of my journey from Jacksonville, FL to Panama City Beach, FL.
Before starting the journey west I had to touch my front wheel in the Atlantic. I took a short 40-mile day trip for this very necessary trip. From there I rode out of Jacksonville on bike paths and a nice shoulder out to Tallahassee, FL. It was mostly pine forest and very flat. Coming into Tallahassee was beautiful as I the canopy was dominated by massive oaks.
I was very lucky to meet up with two tourists in Tallahassee. We completed a tough 110 mile ride out to PCB through strong headwinds and cold weather. Check out the video for the full report!
