In August 2017 I set out on an open-ended bicycle tour circumnavigating the US. This video blog highlights the twelfth leg of my journey from Pensacola, FL. to Dauphin Island, AL.

This was a one day, 68-mile ride, but so much happened so that it deserves its own video. I was accompanied by my two new friends Brooke and Mike so riding was a lot easier with drafting. This made this day one of the most enjoyable of the tour. The scenery, sights, and sounds were incredible. The ride started out going over massive bridges as we crossed into Alabama. From there we were surrounded by water on both sides as we rode down the Gulf Shores. As we rode into Alabama, we were greeted by the Blue Angels! Watching them fly across the sky was amazing. We jumped on a ferry to Dauphin Island and the amazing sights continued. Dolphins jumped around the boat and we could see across the bay for miles. The day ended with an incredible sunset. Check out the video for the full experience!
